3rd Session: Perplexing Perspectives Tuesday 7th July 2009, 2:30pm - 3:30pm

For parents to sample lessons and learn about the methods used to teach in classrooms today, we are inviting parents into school to see for themselves what their child experiences.

After the previous success of ‘Computers and Online resources', why not join us for the session on ‘Perplexing Perspectives'.

Focusing on ‘Shape and Space', this mathematics based session will focus on 3D geometric shapes and how these can be visualised and shown in a 2D form. You will also be able to experience a variety of innovative and practical ways to understand shape in a fun and interesting way.

So.......book now, it would be great to see you!

If you'd like to join us in this, or indeed the session highlighted below, please contact Mr P. Jones via e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or telephone on 01492 532025, stating which session you wish to attend.

Mono Printing (Art)

Wednesday 1st July, 2009, 2:30pm - 4pm

Involving portrait drawing and discovering the 1/2 rule to create your own drawing, you will have a go at mono-printing, where you will have the opportunity to print onto collage paper. By the end of the session, you will be a master of both techniques and will be able to share your expertise and assist your budding young artists with their Art homework!
